Frequently asked questions
Does it really work offline?
Yes — once the first-run setup (downloading the AI engine and models) is done, Enaga works without an internet connection, including airplane mode and offline environments. Note: internet is needed on first run only, to fetch the AI engine and verify your license.
Is my data safe? Does it stay private?
Your imported files and conversations are processed entirely on your device and never sent out. The only external connections are license checks, update checks, and optional web search — none of which send your files or conversations.
Can it create meeting minutes from audio? Which formats?
Yes — as a Standard feature. Drop in a meeting recording and Enaga transcribes it and writes up the key points, decisions and to-dos. Transcription and summarization all run on your device; the audio is never sent out. Supported formats are WAV, MP3, M4A (e.g. iPhone Voice Memos), FLAC and OGG. How accurately speech is transcribed depends on the recording quality and your computer's performance.
Can I get a refund?
As a digital product, we don't offer refunds after purchase as a rule. Please try the free version first to confirm it works for you. If a serious defect attributable to us prevents use, we'll address it individually. See our Legal Notice (Tokushoho) for details.
Which OS? How many devices?
macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later is currently supported. On Mac, both Apple Silicon and Intel are supported, with Apple Silicon recommended going forward. Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) is also supported. One license can be used on up to 3 devices.
What are the recommended specs?
The AI runs directly on your PC, so performance depends mainly on memory. Enaga automatically picks the best AI model for your machine during first-time setup.
- Memory (RAM): 8GB minimum / 16GB or more recommended. With 32GB or more, the high-quality model (optional download, ~17GB) also runs comfortably.
- Free disk space: 5GB minimum / 20GB or more recommended (includes the AI engine and models).
- OS: macOS 11 or later (Windows 10・11 64-bit version in preparation).
Is it a subscription?
No. It's a one-time ¥7,980 (tax incl.) purchase. No monthly fees or extra charges, and free updates throughout v1.x.
Can it search the web? How does that work?
Optionally (off by default). You'll need to get your own free-tier Brave Search API key and add it in the app settings. Once set, Enaga can bring in up-to-date info; in that case the only thing sent out is your search keywords — never your documents or conversations. Leave it off and no search traffic occurs.
Is there support?
We don't offer phone support. Questions are handled by email ([email protected]); individual support scope and response times are limited. You can try the free version first to confirm it works. If a serious defect attributable to us prevents use, we'll address it individually.
